Barrington Environmental Establishment
BEE Eco-Friendly!
A student-led, Barrington, Rhode Island-based organization aiming to spread environmental awareness in the East Bay.
Our Work
Ever since we began, we've been working to make a difference in our community and beyond. Two years later, we're proud of the work we've done.
Education
The BEE publishes a biweekly student-written newsletter covering a variety of environmental topics, ranging from recent legal decisions to climate-related tips and tricks. Stay up to date on timely issues, both local and global, that affect your life. Find it here.
Involvement
We're always looking for new members to join our team. Whether you're interested in one of our monthly events, our annual tree sale with over 800 saplings sold so far, or contributing in a different way, we'd love to have you. Get in touch with us to learn more!
Leadership
We're passionate about leading climate action and positive environmental change. We've spoken at the statehouse, led the creation of a compost drop-off processing over 4000 pounds, and been awarded the President's Environmental Youth Award.
